Experience

Interapt Experience

  • Training with Erica Judd:

Over the past 2 weeks, and some time to come, I have trained along side Erica to prepare new hires for their time on the phone. I have been able, through my own time on the phone, to give my personal experience and further their knowledge before even handling a call. I've been able give them a plethora of skills & knowledge that will not only better them, but have a positive reflection on us.

  • Assisting new hires

While my 'formal' training here at Interapt only extends to what's recorded with Erica, I have a proven record of assisting new hires when possible. Either through text or video, I've been able to help other CSA's with issues they've struggled with and have gone above and beyond in ensuring that they're not facing the same issue down the line.

  • Self Improvement

I by no means consider myself the "best" but I strive to be. I train myself daily by reading KB's & previous tickets to further improve by own skillset

Leadership

My leadership skills, while always developing (similar to all my skills), are one of my talents. I'm able to quickly and easily - if needed - take control & ownership of a situation and expertly navigate it. I personally think that being able to no only lead, but follow, is monumental for any would be leader, as we can all learn from any person or source.

Leadership is more than simply directing people to a task, which I where I feel comfortable and confident in myself. I'm able to assign a task, but I'm also able to help and guide people through the given task if & when needed.

Communication

Communication. Both my most valued and lacking skill. While I'm often able to explain myself clearly and concisely, I feel that I can always improve in this department. Since I personally don't believe in resumes only showing a persons positive side - I often find myself becoming frustrated with myself due to my lack of communication skills.

It's incredibly easy to say you have communication skills, which of course I do, but being able to refine those and improve those on a daily basis is where the real growth of communication comes from.

Problem Solving

I feel that my problem solving skills are in the same boat as my communication skills. While not perfect, they're able to help me navigate issues both before and during an essential or critical moment.

Having the ability to choose the best option in a sea of wrong or non-ideal ones comes with age and a lot of practice. Two things I think I have, one more than the other.

Personable

I consider myself incredibly personable. Of all my listed skills here, this is one of, if not my strongest one. I'm able to relate with many people which helps them feel at ease when speaking with me.

While being a good leader, communicative, and having problem solving skills are vital for any role, being personable - especially in a leadership role - is above and beyond the most vital. If you're unliked, people will dread being with or around you.

Teachable

My favorite. Being teachable. Learning. I crave to learn more. It's a deep-seated belief I have. Asking questions, always. I don't feel comfortable without asking questions.

While I understand that my constant questions can become tedious, I continue to strive for excellence and the only way to do that is by asking more questions and learning more.

Random

Some random facts about me: I spent roughly ~8 hours working on this and it shows. I'm not a designer. Even as we speak I'm furiously typing away in an attempt to have this up and running before I sleep.

I enjoy all things tech. I absolutely love Anime, Manga, and Manhwa's (South Korean manga) and have been invloved in the anime community for well over 20 years.
